Welcome to High Country Dance Studio!  We are located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Boone, North Carolina. We offer classes in clogging, hip-hop, creative movement, dance team, Mini Mountaineers, Zumba®, and ZumbAtomic®. The studio offers recreational classes as well as competitive classes in almost any style of dance from beginner to advanced levels.  No matter what your dance experience is (if any at all), we have a class for you! 

    "HCDS" is owned and operated  by Vanessa Minton.  Vanessa and her staff make it their priority to help 
their students find a love for dance whether for fun, show, or competition. More than anything else they hope to instill in their students a healthy way of life both physically and spiritually.  Which is why they will tell you that they don’t have one big dance studio full of dancers.  They have a one big dancing “family.” We would love for you to stop by and see what we have to offer.
